How to set up Dialstitch and get your team calling, texting and routing customers. New here? Start with getting started.
Get started
Set up your workspace, numbers and team.
Getting started
Set up Dialstitch in about ten minutes: create your team, choose a plan, pick your number, set your emergency address and make your first call.
Your settings
Set up your own Dialstitch account: name and password, Do Not Disturb, call forwarding, ring time, microphone and speaker, voicemail greeting and notifications.
Calling
The softphone, call history, routing, queues and the dialer.
Phone and softphone
Make and take calls in your browser with the Dialstitch softphone: caller ID, your status, mute, hold, keypad, transfer, conference and call park.
Call history, recordings and voicemail
Find past calls in Dialstitch, play recordings, read transcripts, manage voicemail, set the recording announcement and put calls on legal hold.
Dispositions
Log the outcome of every Dialstitch call with dispositions and sub-dispositions, and set up your team's disposition list.
Contacts, callbacks, notes and search
Keep customer contacts in Dialstitch, tag them, schedule callbacks, keep private notes and search across calls, texts, chat and contacts.
Call lists and do-not-call
Work through a list of numbers one call at a time with the Dialstitch dialer, and keep a do-not-call list that blocks calls and texts.
Ring groups
Ring several people at once from one Dialstitch number or IVR option, and choose what happens when nobody answers.
IVR menus
Build a phone menu in Dialstitch so callers press a key to reach a person, a team, a queue, voicemail or the AI agent.
Call queues
Hold callers in a Dialstitch call queue until an agent is free, with ring strategies, agent priority and skills, announcements, hold music and overflow.
Business hours and offices
Set opening hours and holidays in Dialstitch so calls route differently when you're closed, and group numbers and people into offices and departments.
Workflows
Build call flows and automations in Dialstitch: route calls step by step, and run follow-up actions when calls end, voicemails arrive, texts come in or dispositions are logged.
Messaging
Texting, team chat and notifications.
Inbox and texting (SMS and MMS)
Text customers from your Dialstitch numbers. How the Inbox works, sending photos and files, opt-outs and A2P 10DLC registration for business texting.
Team chat
Talk with your team in channels, direct messages and group messages inside Dialstitch. Customer texts stay in the Inbox.
Notifications and push
Choose which Dialstitch alerts you get by email, push and in the app, and install Dialstitch on your desktop or phone.
AI
Transcripts, AI notes, voice agents and live coaching.
Live transcription and AI notes
Dialstitch transcribes every call live and writes a summary, action items, sentiment and more when the call ends. Here's what you get and where to find it.
AI voice agents (AI receptionist)
Let an AI voice agent answer your Dialstitch numbers, take calls after hours and hand callers to a person when they ask.
AI calls (outbound)
Have a Dialstitch AI voice agent place an outbound call for you, with consent checks, rate limits and a full transcript afterwards.
AI assistant
Ask the Dialstitch AI assistant questions about your calls, messages and contacts in plain English, and set up quick-action prompts for your team.
Live coaching: AI Moments, assist cards and playbooks
Track topics across calls with AI Moments, show agents live tips with assist cards, and guide calls with playbook checklists in Dialstitch.
Teams and supervisors
Roles, live calls, the wallboard, analytics and quality.
Team, roles and multiple teams
How Dialstitch teams work: owner, admin and member roles, what each can do, removing people, and switching between teams.
Supervisors: live calls, wallboard, listen, whisper and barge
Watch live calls in Dialstitch, listen in, whisper to agents, barge in or take over, and put queue stats on a wallboard.
Analytics and exports
Call and text reporting in Dialstitch: the overview, agents, numbers, queues, quality and workflows, filters, and CSV exports.
QA scorecards and AI call scoring
Score calls against your standards with Dialstitch QA scorecards. The AI drafts every evaluation, reviewers finish it, and agents can acknowledge or dispute.
Admin and billing
Plans, numbers, emergency addresses, retention and integrations.
Billing and plans
Dialstitch plans and pricing, annual vs monthly billing, seats, number add-ons, the billing portal, and what happens when a payment fails or a subscription is canceled.
Phone numbers
Get your first Dialstitch number, add more, and choose who each number rings: a person, the team, a ring group, an IVR menu, a call queue, a workflow or the AI agent.
E911 emergency addresses
Set up emergency addresses for your Dialstitch numbers and people so 911 calls send the right location, and review the emergency call log.
Data retention
Choose how long Dialstitch keeps call recordings, voicemail, transcripts, text attachments and chat files, and keep calls with a legal hold.
CRM integrations: HubSpot, Salesforce and Zendesk
Connect HubSpot, Salesforce or Zendesk to Dialstitch to see the caller's CRM record on calls and log calls, AI summaries and texts automatically.
