Your settings

Set up your own Dialstitch account: name and password, Do Not Disturb, call forwarding, ring time, microphone and speaker, voicemail greeting and notifications.

Open Settings at the bottom of the sidebar. These settings are yours alone and don't change anything for the rest of your team.

Account

  • Change your Name and Email under Account Information.
  • Change your password under Password. You'll need your current one.
  • Delete Account removes you from your team and can't be undone. Confirm with your password.

Call settings

Open Call settings and select Edit Settings.

  • Do Not Disturb sends all your incoming calls straight to voicemail. Ring groups skip you, and calls can't be transferred to you.
  • Enable Call Forwarding rings another number, such as your mobile, at the same time as your softphone. Enter it in Forward to Number with the country code, such as +14155550123.
  • Ring Timeout sets how long your phone rings before voicemail: 10 to 60 seconds, 30 by default. When several people ring at once, the shortest timeout wins.
  • Under Browser Audio Devices, pick your Microphone and Speaker.

Voicemail greeting

Open Voicemail and select Set Greeting under Default Voicemail Greeting. Choose Text-to-Speech and type a message, or Record Greeting to record one in your browser.

  • Your default greeting plays on numbers you own.
  • Under Number-Specific Greetings, set a different greeting for each number you own.
  • Without a greeting, callers hear a standard message.

Notifications

Choose your email and push alerts under Notifications. See Notifications and push.
