Contacts, callbacks, notes and search

Keep customer contacts in Dialstitch, tag them, schedule callbacks, keep private notes and search across calls, texts, chat and contacts.

Contacts

Contacts are shared across your organization. When someone calls or texts, Dialstitch matches their number to a contact and shows the name everywhere.

  1. Add a contact

Open Contacts and select Add Contact. Enter the Name and Phone number, plus Company, a Phone label and Notes if you like.

  2. Tag it

On the contact, select Add tag. Tags can be up to 50 characters. Filter the contact list by tag.

A contact's page shows recent calls and lets you start a conversation, edit or delete the contact, or Add to List to put them on a call list. If you've connected a CRM, you'll see their CRM record too.

Callbacks

Callbacks lists people to call back, soonest first. Callbacks are part of the Pro and Contact Centre plans.

  1. Schedule one

Select Schedule callback. Enter the Number, choose who to Assign to, and add When and a Note if you like.

  2. Work the list

Mine shows your callbacks. Select Call to dial, then Done when it's handled.

  • Callbacks are marked Any time, Soon (due within 2 hours) or Overdue.
  • When a callback comes due, the person it's assigned to gets a notification.
  • Admins can see everyone's callbacks on the Everyone tab.
  • Workflows can schedule callbacks too.

Notes

Notes, at the bottom of the sidebar, is your private notepad. Only you can see your notes. Notes you take on a call are separate and stay on the call.

Search looks through call transcripts, summaries and notes, text messages, team chat and contacts at once, as you type.
