Notifications and push
Choose which Dialstitch alerts you get by email, push and in the app, and install Dialstitch on your desktop or phone.
Dialstitch tells you about missed calls, voicemails, texts, mentions and more. You choose which alerts reach you and where. Open Settings, then Notifications.
In the app
The bell shows your notifications: missed calls, new voicemails, click-to-call requests, chat mentions, callbacks that are due, parked calls that timed out and emergency calls. Select Dismiss on one, or Clear All. In-app notifications are always on.
Push notifications
Turn on push
In Settings, then Notifications, select Enable on this device and allow notifications when your browser asks.
Choose what to get
Under Push me about, untick anything you don't want, then select Save Push Preferences. Everything is on by default.
Test it
Under Your devices, select Send test. Remove a device there to stop pushes to it.
You can get pushes for incoming calls, incoming texts, missed calls, new voicemails, chat mentions, callbacks due, parked call timeouts and click-to-call requests. Owners and admins can also get emergency call alerts.
- Push is set per device. Turn it on on each computer and phone you use.
- If you belong to more than one team, a device gets pushes for the team you turned it on in.
- Signing out stops pushes to that browser.
- Incoming texts push to everyone the number rings. Calls offered by a call queue aren't pushed.
Install Dialstitch
Install Dialstitch from your browser's address bar to use it like a desktop app. On iPhone and iPad, push needs iOS 16.4 or later: open Dialstitch in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, and open it from the Home Screen before you turn on push.
Email notifications
Under Email Notifications, turn on Enable Email Notifications, then choose Missed Calls and New Voicemails. Email is off by default, and only those two alerts are sent by email.
